Foster  Tower

EXTERIOR WINDOW  WASHING: Foster Tower's contractor will be at Foster Tower between March 10-12, 2025 (weather permitting) to wash the exterior windows. If you would like your interior windows or mirrors cleaned or your window A/C caulked, you may sign up for this service here:  WINDOW WASHING & A/C CAULKING FORM. The contractor will take care of the interior cleaning and A/C caulking on the last day of the 3-day period. 


REGISTRATION: Foster Tower's House Rules require all owners, tenants and guests staying for more than 72 hours to submit a completed Resident Registration Form to Security.  This rule has always been a Foster Tower House Rule.  During the coronavirus epidemic, it is even more important to know who is staying in the building at all times.  Please ensure that everyone fills out the form and submits it to security.  You can download the form by clicking on this link : RESIDENT REGISTRATION  FORM 


BICYCLE  REGISTRATION:  Bike Storage Room rent is due by January 1st if you have a bike in the bike room. The cost is $100 per bike per calendar year. Please make your checks out to AOAO Foster Tower and give them to either Annamaria or Leslie. If you want to rent a space for your bike, please see Annamaria and she will assign you a numbered stall.


PEST CONTROL: Foster Tower's pest control contractor, Able Pest Management, will be treating Foster Tower's common elements and individual units that signed up for treatment per the following 2026 Quarterly Pest Control schedule:

  • January 14th arrival between 12-2pm.
  • April 8th arrival between 12-2pm.
  • July 8th arrival between 12-2pm.
  • October 14th arrival between 12-2pm.


If you would like to hire them to treat your apartment, you may sign up for this service here:  PEST CONTROL SIGN-UP FORM. The contractor charges $25-35, tax included (studios/1-bdrm: $25, 2-bdrm: $30, 3-bdrm: $35).

You must sign up for this individual service by EOB January 13, 2026, as we need to hand over the list to the vendor Wednesday morning.  Payment must be labeled and given directly to the technician or our guards (in a labeled envelope) before service is rendered.  Payment options are exact cash or check written out to Able Pest Management.

EV CHARGING:  You can sign up for EV Charging here: EV Charging Sign-up Sheet.   
The interim policy that is temporarily in place is as follows:

  • HOURS OF OPERATIONS: electric cars may be charged in the 6 stalls marked (“Guest Stalls / EV Charging”) from midnight to 7 AM, Monday through Sunday.   During the hours of 7:00 AM – 23:59 PM, EV charging is strictly prohibited as the same stalls are exclusively used for Guest Parking. EV cars that are charged at night must be removed from the Guest Stalls by no later than 7AM.
  • VEHICLES: only passenger vehicles with valid tags (registration and safety check) and valid Hawaii insurance can use the charging stations.
  • USERS: EV Charging is available to registered Foster Tower residents only.
  • SIGN-IN: users must sign in for EV charging on Foster Tower’s portal
    ​(http://www.fostertower.org/resident-portal.html) before entering the EV charging stalls for charging.

  • PAYMENT: residents must download the Loop app from the App Store or from this QR code >>>>>>>>>> 
    The Loop app will activate the charging stations and will allow you to pay for charging. 
    The charging rates are set by the Board of Directors and are subject to change,
    based on market conditions.  The current rate is: 50¢/KWH (as of 2024). 
  • CHARGER TYPE: Foster Tower’s EV chargers are Level 2 chargers. Level 2 charging typically adds about 25 miles of EV range for every hour of charging.
  • FINES: Residents who violate Foster Tower’s EV Charging Policy will be fined $200 after one warning issued to their apartment. 

GYM USE:  We continue to operate our on-site gym on a dual platform of having both "Reservations Only" and "Open Hours" timeslots to accommodate the different needs of residents.  During "Reservations Only" times, only ONE person may use the gym at any one time on based on signing up for the reserved timeslot on our website.  This rule is strictly enforced.  Please do not ask someone who signed up to use the gym if it's OK to use it while they are in the gym.  They may be too polite to say "no."  If these rules are not followed, we will need to turn off gym access to those residents who violate this rule.

Residents using the gym must wipe down all used equipment BEFORE & AFTER each use.


Please use extra care during quiet hours (11 pm - 7 am).  During these hours, residents may work out in a quiet manner (treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, yoga, etc.) but must refrain from listening to music, talking on the phone, or dropping free weights or weight stack bars.  Should we receive noise complaints, we will need to revoke the temporary quiet hours use.

NEW SECURITY SYSTEM: Foster Tower is in the process of adopting a facial recognition access control system.  Residents (short- and long-term) can register their faces to be used for access control. There are numerous benefits to the new system:

  • it's more secure than a fob-based system where fobs could be passed around freely
  • it doesn't require residents to carry anything to access the building; conversely, there's no fobs or keys that could be stolen and compromised either.
  • it's hands-free!  We don't have to touch doorhandles, and we don't have to dig in our purses to find our fobs/keys.
  • we can set it up remotely and ahead of arrival.  Just email our office at fostertowerwaikiki@gmail.com your (a) registration form, (b) waiver, and (3) your photo and we'll set it up in the system prior to your arrival or the arrival of your residents/guests.  You can find the blank registration forms here on our website, along with instructions for taking a usable photo.
