Foster  Tower

PEST CONTROL: Foster Tower's contractor -- Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions -- will be at Foster Tower on Tuesday, January 9.  If you would like to hire them to treat your apartment, you may sign up for this service here:  PEST CONTROL SIGN-UP FORM.   The contractor charges $26.18, tax included.

You must sign up for this individual service by EOB January 8, as we need to hand over the list to the vendor Tuesday morning.  Payment must be labeled and given directly to the technician or our guards (in a labeled envelope) before service is rendered.

DOOR EDGE PAINTING: If you need your door's edge touched up, you may sign up here:  DOOR EDGE PAINTING SIGN-UP FORM. Our staff will make every effort to visit your unit during the time you signed up for.

REGISTRATION: Foster Tower's House Rules require all owners, tenants and guests staying for more than 72 hours to submit a completed Resident Registration Form to Security.  This rule has always been a Foster Tower House Rule.  During the coronavirus epidemic, it is even more important to know who is staying in the building at all times.  Please ensure that everyone fills out the form and submits it to security.  You can download the form by clicking on this link : RESIDENT REGISTRATION  FORM

BICYCLE  REGISTRATION:  All bicycles stored in the Bicycle Room must be registered annually.  Only bicycles with current registration stickers can be stored in that room. Please register your bicycles that are already stored in the Bicycle Room.  We are not accepting new registrations until the Pool Deck and the Bicycle Room are fully renovated, as this room will also undergo repairs and changes. We are looking into different types of bike racks, and when the Bicycle Room reopens, we will have new stickers issued.  The currently registered bicycles that renew their current registration (at $10/bike) will be issued new stickers but their registration fee will be considered "paid" for 2024.  Should the storage fees go up with the new system, these bicycles will not need to pay the higher amount for 2024.

GYM USE:  We hope to keep the gym open for Foster Tower's residents.  In response to the State Proclamation (called into effect on 3/22/20), only ONE person may use the gym at any one time on a reservations basis.  This rule is strictly enforced.  Please do not ask someone who signed up to use the gym if it's OK to use it while they are in the gym.  They may be too polite to say "no."  If these rules are not followed, we will need to close the gym to all residents.

Residents MUST sign up to use the gym by adding their name onto this Google Form: GYM  RESERVATION  FORM

Residents using the gym must wipe down all used equipment BEFORE & AFTER each use.

Please use extra care during quiet hours (11 pm - 7 am).  During these hours, residents may work out in a quiet manner (treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, yoga, etc.) but must refrain from listening to music, talking on the phone, or dropping free weights or weight stack bars.  Should we receive noise complaints, we will need to revoke the temporary quiet hours use.

EXTERIOR WINDOW CAULKING & WASHING: Foster Tower's contractor will be at Foster Tower between June 26-28 to wash the exterior windows. Some homeowners reported leaking windows or window A/Cs during heavy rains.  Our window cleaner contractor agreed to offer the service of caulking gaps in the window caulking or A/C housing from the outside.  If you noticed that your A/C unit or window needs to be caulked, you may sign up for this service here:  WINDOW CLEANING OR A/C SLEEVE CAULKING FORM.   The contractor charges $95, tax included.

During this visit, only EXTERIOR windows will be washed.  If you would like to hire the contractor to clean your interior windows, please use the same sign-up sheet to sign up for the additional work:  WINDOW CLEANING OR A/C SLEEVE CAULKING FORM.  The interior window cleaning is per quote, so please sign up before Monday June 26 so the contractor can take a look at your interior windows to be able to give you a quote before doing the work on Tuesday.  The contractor will take care of the interior window cleaning on Tuesday June 27, and he will take care of the window A/C caulking on Wednesday June 28.
